Cicero Police Department Arrests

The records division handles copies of arrest reports and other police documents. Report copies are available at the front desk for $0.25 per page, cash only. Records hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Walk in during those hours with the name of the arrested person or the incident number to get a copy. Keep in mind that some reports may take a few days to be ready after the arrest.

Cicero FOIA Arrest Requests

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140) requires basic arrest data to be released within 72 hours. Cicero has a FOIA request page on the town website at thetownofcicero.com. You can use this to submit requests for arrest records and other public documents.

Under state law, the first 50 pages of black and white copies are free. Pages after that cost up to 15 cents each. Note that the records division charges $0.25 per page for walk-in copies, which is slightly more than the FOIA rate. If cost matters, a formal FOIA request might save you a few cents per page. The department has five business days to respond to FOIA requests.

Cicero Arrests in Cook County Courts

All Cicero arrests go through the Cook County Circuit Court. The Cook County State's Attorney files charges after an arrest.
